The Nest of Champions Uyo will on Friday the 25th sept 2015 @7pm host the Promise keepers (Akwa United) against visiting solid miners (Nasarawa united) in what will be termed arguably the first of its kind in the History of Glo Premeir League games in Nigeria.
This singular act justifies the rapid growth in our league in recent times. Currently night matches in African leagues are only synounimous with North African countries. Only south Africa and Rep. Of Congo (TP Mazembe) can be categorized among these, with respect to night matches.

Linc Vs Yul, Who Resembles Pete Edochie More?
#NollywoodGist: Nigeria Movie Network recently shared a throwback photo of legendary Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, suggesting that he looked more like a younger version of one of his sons, Yul Edochie. However, some NMN members on our Facebook page suggest that Pete looked more like his other son instead, Linc Edochie, while others agreed he does resemble Yul Edochie. To settle the matter, we put together this photo of father Pete Edochie and two of his sons who are also actors, with Yul Edochie being the most popular of the pair. Both Linc Edochie and Yul Edochie, resemble their father (Pete Edochie) in many aspect and/or features. But since some fans are saying one son resemble their father more than the other; we want to hear/read your opinion on this entertaining debate on Nigeria Movie Network.

105-year-old Japanese sprinter challenges Usain Bolt to a race
Japanese centenarian Hidekichi Miyazaki also known as 'Golden Bolt' set a fresh record as the world's oldest competitive sprinter on Wednesday, one day after turning 105. Miyazaki completed his heat with a time of 42.22. His personal record of 34.10, achieved when he was 103-years-old, remains in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The highly anticipated 'Prince Hezekiah Funny King' event, organized by Grafton Entertainment and 001 Ent. finally took place on Sunday, September 13 at Aztech Arcum in Port-Harcourt. The well attended event attracted over 2,000 fun lovers from various parts of the Niger-Delta region. It marked Grafton Entertainment's 10th year in showbiz, both in Nigeria and the UK and was also the maiden edition of the 'Funny King' brand spearheaded by comedian, Prince Hezekiah.

Siasia; I Take All The Blame For Dream Team Collapse.
Nigeria’s U-23 team coach, Samson Siasia, has accepted blame for the Dream Team semi-final loss to Burkina Faso at the 11th African Games football tournament in Congo-Brazzaville.
Burkina Faso defeated Nigeria 3-1 on Tuesday to qualify for the final of the football event against Senegal. And Siasia points the finger of blame at himself.
“I am not a man of excuses,” he said.
“I take all the blame for this collapse and will certainly make amends before the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.

Serena vs Venus Williams to face off again at the US Open
Sisters Serena and Venus Williams will face off against each other in the U.S. Open tomorrow Tuesday September 8th. Venus won her fourth round match against Anett Kontaveit on Sunday and Serena beat Madison Keys, setting up the Williams Sisters match up at the quarter finals tomorrow.
This will be the sisters 27th match against each other. Serena has won 14 out of the 27.
